For over 30 years, Jennie Thomason has served the public as a social worker, attorney, victim advocate, and Magistrate Judge.

A licensed attorney with more than 20 years of experience in our local courts, Jennie has dedicated her career to serving her home county, including our most vulnerable neighbors. As a proud native of New Hanover County, she is committed to showing up for her hometown.

For over seven years, Jennie tirelessly served as a Magistrate Judge in New Hanover County, working days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Through snowstorms, hurricanes, and a global pandemic, she showed up.
